Hero Town is my first book. It is aimed at 8-12 year olds and is very, very silly. I have already started work on the second book in the series, which is almost certainly NOT going to be called Hero Town 2: Electric Boogaloo.

The inspiration for writing Hero Town came from my experiences of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, along with other SEN conditions. In Hero Town, Solomon is looked on as an inconvenient oddity because he is different. I wanted to show that different doesn't have to mean inferior. A hero can come from anywhere.

I live in Marlow (Bucks) with my wife, two children and dog. Coincidentally, my wife, two children and dog also live in Marlow (Bucks) with me. Life is peculiar like that, isn't it?
